Always pleased by the level of customer service at this Ace location. Definitely the \helpful place\ with \friendly hardware folk.\ Which is good, because one needs something extra when paying convenience store prices at times. The place has a great selection. It really is like a compact Home Depot or Lowes. One oddity about this location is that it is adjacent to a dog kennel/hotel, so when it is feeding or walking time, you will hear a whole lot of barking.

Rented a Bissell BigGreen carpet cleaner from the store. Machine was faulty and leaked all over out house during use although we did manage to get the job done. When returned to the store and complained about it's faulty condition the store clerk Jerry said it wasn't their problem and I had to deal with Bissell. Further to this he made me get in my knees and scrub the bottom of the machine with a small brush or he wouldn't return my deposit. I had already cleaned the machine to my satisfaction, clearly not there's. I called Bissell about the faulty machine and they said it was the stores duty to return my deposit and I had to drive back and confront them about it. All said and done I'm just going to let it go as it's not worth my time to go back and argue with the rude staff member.

Canton Ace Hardware reminds me of going to the Hardware store with my Granddad. The Hardware store was local, friendly, helpful and jammed packed with such a variety of MDSE. I get that same feeling at your Canton Ace. So thank you for the care you have taken to create an outstanding local hardware store... Wishing you every continued success...

Despite the smaller footprint, the store carries most of what you need. People who work there are very helpful. However, store owner needs to replace credit card reader, which has been broken for several months and requires manual entry of card number for virtually all transactions -- in 2020! C'mon!
