Fick Bros doesn't serve my county; however, they were professional enough to provide the names of those in my area they could recommend. That is truly a sign of a great company, to my way of thinking. Another reason they have such great ratings!

I was very happy with the work your company did for my parents home addressing the leaky roof. I was referred by trapper john at Mid Atlantic Wildlife Control and told Fick Bros.roofing would be great. I must say you didn't disappoint and surpassed my expectations. I would highly recommend in the future to anyone.
Be very clear that you need an estimate or if you want actual service (at T&M rate) when scheduling. Called for a roof replacement estimate for a leaky roof and they sent two guys out and later invoiced for a 150 service call. At no point did anyone mention there would be a charge. Why would there be for a free estimate?? Every single contractor I've ever worked with does an evaluation with sales people before sending out workers. Fick has never worked on this house before but did some substantial work previously for us at our primary residence and all went fine. They made no repairs in the 15-20 minutes they were there, and didn't even take a tool up with them. They just took measurements and photos to price up a new roof. They said a salesperson may call but probably not since they had everything needed for a new roof estimate plus chimney work. I just called a second time and they are insisting it was a service call and to call back if I want an estimate. At no point was I informed this was anything other than an estimate! After a fair amount of back and forth, they eventually called to say they were waiving the fee. Glad to hear. Be sure to be clear as to what you want when calling for an appointment and absolutely say the word “estimate”.
Fick bros has been maintaining, repairing, and replacing my roof for almost 30 years. I would never use anyone else. I have a multilevel house with 2 large flat roofs and a customized drainage system instead of gutters. When we were first replacing a tar and gravel roof with a vinyl roof Fick bros was the only roofer at the time that did residential vinyl roofs. Fick bros inspects, cleans, and repairs my roofs on a regular schedule. They have just replaced one level of my roof. I can’t say enough about their quality, professionalism, and attention to detail. I know they are not the lowest price. But I can say without reserve that I have never had a problem with any work that has been done. A flat roof has its own special problems Fick bros was recommended to me when we first bought our house and had problems with the original roofer. When our children bought a row house and needed to have an inspection and maintenance contract Fick was the only company we considered.
