Small, but great. This is a beautiful space with fantastic views of the surrounding area-including the harbor. It's worth stopping in.

What a great venue for a wedding. I officiated my friends wedding. Ceremony was on the adjacent pier. Two separate rooms for dancing and dinner. Really a lovely space.
I loved the history of this place. I attended a event with my best friend and just fell in love with the view.
Great exhibits on Douglass and Myers: Very interactive for visitors. Parking was either in private lot () or on street (by chance). Overall, an important museum that details a critical period in Douglass’ life.
Beautiful spot for a Baltimore wedding! Love the long pier, looking out at the Domino Sugar Sign.

This museum is a small waterfront treasure and definitely worth seeing if you have an hour. The entrance fee of 5 is very inexpensive, making it accessible to most, and street parking is abundant. They ask you to watch a 10 minute video in the lobby prior to viewing the exhibit, and the voices of Charles Dutton and Tim Reid, as Frederick Douglass and Isaac Myers respectively, do a fine job placing the museum in its historical context.
This is a really cool waterfront museum that showcases Baltimore's unique maritime history. I recently attended a beautiful fall wedding ceremony and reception here, so I'd highly recommend as a wedding venue. Spending an evening here was a really fun way to experience Baltimore! Pro Tips: - Come around sunset to enjoy a waterfront view of the old Domino Sugar factory and the famou sUnder Armour headquarters
