I went to Jill with a skirt that needed to be altered and hoped she could make a top to match. I had loved the skirt before, but her alterations made it perfect in a way I hadn't envisioned. Through conversation and shared inspirations she ended up making me the most beautiful and delicate top to match—I left with a wedding outfit that was truly made for me. She and her team are a pleasure to work with and always a joy to talk to. All of this took place during the pandemic and she managed all of this in just two fittings!

Jill Andrews Gowns is a wonderful custom bridal atelier offering custom bridal gowns and women's formalwear. The designer-owner, Jill Andrews, also offers master alterations. The beautifully appointed atelier, located in the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore has a beautiful selection of high end costume and fine jewelry, millinery, bridal accessories, and handbags. This is the perfect place for one-of-a-kind cusom gowns and unique jewelry. You do have to make an appointment in advance.

Yeah great experience, but not many selection of gowns below 1400, but definitely new nice gowns and good customer service!

I bought my dream dress from a bridal boutique in downtown Baltimore but when it came in it was several sizes too big and the boutique wanted to butcher the beautiful dress to alter it and charge me a fortune to do it (after they had originally told me a price hundreds less). I was incredibly disheartened until a friend told me to contact Jill Andrews. She is truly an artist and perfectionist- it fit me like a glove and Jill was so reasonable and patient to work with. You can tell she takes so much pride in her work- it's not just for show. A week before my wedding I found something wrong with the dress (that I didn't notice originally-not because of anything Jill did) and she told me not to worry that she would fix it immediately. I am so thankful to Jill and for Jennifer who was a dream to work with. Jill Andrews to save the day!
