Every once in awhile you encounter someone in business that understands that if you have talent, are consciences in your your work and focus on making your clients happy, success and financial rewards will follow. Heather Smith is such a person. This was our first, and we expect it to be our last, experience with art restoration. We turned over \Uncle Mike\ with great trepidation and concern to Heather's care for cleaning and restoration. Our oil painting is a faithful and quality copy of Michelangelo's portrait painted by an 18th centuryI Italian artist. It is doubtful that the painting would bring a great sum at an art auction. However, Uncle Mike has been in our family a long time, and he is a priceless heirloom to us. Heather's final product exceeded our expectations. She returned our painting on time, within her cost estimate and our budget. As a bonus, she cleaned and did restoration work on the frame which included a sturdy dust cover on the back. She also furnished us with a notebook of a dozen photographs showing the progression of her restoration work along with a written step-by-step description of how the work was performed. As a final touch, she restrung the painting for hanging, carefully making certain that the wire was the exact length of the wire she replaced. Uncle Mike was returned to his rightful spot on our living room wall. I could swear I could detect a smile on his face. I can assure there were smiles on ours.
