I have been waiting on back unemployment since June 2020. I have been told by 3 people when I was actually able to get in contact with someone via phone, that my ticket is being pushed up to the highest level issue (whatever that means) and my funds will be dispersed via BOA card. I've also been told to check my email and answer my phone because someone will be in touch to do a verification check in order to send out the card. But I NEVER received either form of communication. Since then, I have tried calling several times. However, I am no longer able to get through. My account has already been released from hold due to needing an interview. I was finally able to get interviewed on one of the calls when I did speak with someone, however, I have yet to receive my Bank of America Card. I am currently still playing catch up on bills due to this extreme inconvenience, which has created a strenuous financial burden on me. I am and was relaying on this to alleviate some of the financial distress that has been spawn upon me after being out of work for 3 months due to covid-19. Can someone please direct me to the proper channels? I just want to be able to be current on my bills. This isn't fair and something has to be done :(.

I really have to say I hate this process. You can’t get answers from some chat bot. You try to call. You get nowhere. It’s so many numbers to call. And no answer. EVER. I wish Maryland would fix this and NOW. THE FACT THAT I BARELY RECEIVED UNEMPLOYMENT AND NOW I OWE 2200 back to the state and can’t get an answer, email response, nothing. I am frustrated. This process has been a bane to our existence since this pandemic started. I couldn’t even receive my funds and now I owe money. Hilarious.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been waiting since October and I have heard NOTHING!!!!! I keep calling but I cannot get through to a human being. Recording keeps saying to check the portal but there is NO change on the portal for me since October. This is so frustrating. I'm out of work for medical issues and COVID since I have to stay home with my daughter. I feel like why the hell have I been paying taxes for the last 15 years and it not even be worth it. So many are really suffering and our bill collectors aren't letting up so we are angry as hell we can't get the money we worked for. I can see if this was like state assistance but WE (tax payers) put that money in the system for the system to screw us all over.
