On Saturday, I attended the opening night of Poe's Comedy Cabaret in the Lord Baltimore Hotel. It is on alternate Saturdays (second and fourth). They have magic on the first and third Saturdays. Magician VInce Wilson came out at the beginning of the show and did a cool magic trick with the help of a couple audience members. Violet Gray was the featured comedian, and I really enjoyed her. A lot of her humor had to do with being a nerd, but you don't have to be a LARPer to get her jokes. She was really able to draw the audience into her world. She even let me take a few photos of her. The venue is in the Lord Baltimore Hotel, which is a glorious setting. There was no food or drink minimum, but I got there early and had a crab cake at the bar. Best crab cake I've had in a while. The staff at the bar and in the comedy club are warm and accommodating. I was a little concerned about being in downtown Baltimore by myself, but I took advantage of the valet parking, which is something I wouldn't normally do, but you get a discount when you come to the show, so it was well worth it, and it was hassle-free! I will definitely be back, and next time, I hope to bring my friends, because I know they'll enjoy it.

We had a fantastic time at murder mystery theater! The host was engaging and seamlessly combined close up magic with murder mystery to make a unique experience. I highly recommend going!
Excellent entertainment. Vince is a skilled mentalist, magician and hypnotist with the ability to captivate and wow his audience. Impromptu, I attended a Halloween night show at the Lord Baltimore Hotel while on my business trip. Lots of impressionable fun. Worth the very reasonable ticket price to do something unique in a historic Baltimore landmark.
Smaller then I anticipated but the show was phenomenal. Great for a quick night out with a loved one.
I went to the comedy show with a few other folks. The magic show was brief and funny, but the comedy show was enjoyable!
