It doesn’t matter if u get here 3:00 am In the morning, they open the gate at 8:00 work very slowly and u will get so frustrated the way they work here. Probably I will be leaving around 2:00 or 3:00 pm. P.a.: they stop at 11:30 for lunch and come back 1:00pm and there is nothing I can do about it. I’m very impressed how all the drivers don’t complain about the way they work, how many stuff they have to unload and inspect what we bring to them. Anyway Red hook sucks

If I could give negative stars I would. Place is horrible. Avoid at all costs (shipping or delivering)... I’ve delivered twice to this location. Absolutely no organization or system in place to expedite the processing of vehicles. Waited 6hrs my first time, and am currently in hour 4 of my second delivery with no end in sight... My only advice would be to sleep outside the gate (likely behind all the other transporters who weren’t processed the day before). I got here an hour before they opened today and the line was still over 50 transporters deep... Doesn’t matter what time you get here, there will be a line as workers move at a snails pace and hate their job... Zero respect for other peoples time. Gave this place the benefit of the doubt after my first miserable experience, but have learned my lesson today. I will NEVER deliver to this location again! Ask you’re customer/broker for the port delivery address. If they say 2025 E McComas St, Redhook or Roro, Do yourself a favor and decline the transport or ask for DOUBLE... Until someone more competent takes over port operations, this location will end up costing you money! Stay away! Amports is down the street and 100x better operation.

Going well if you have a twic and machinery. More waiting for car haulers. 0800@1530. They have a dock.

Hopes of delivering and you in line before the cut off time and then boom you make it to the gate and they close it on you waste of gas and time sitting for hours in line to deliver especially if you bring car from out of state they should Garuntee trucks in line before to come in then you come back next day to super long line and it’s all over again

Moving very slow,6 hours in lane and after they close the gate at 4:15 ,I will not take any car for Red Hook terminal again,if they will not pay less than 2 per/mile,you loose 2 days here ,worst terminal

Arrived 11:30 am 30 trucks in front. Lady inside said she will not call anybody from receiving. She said she will call police if you ask couple more questions. One of the places where spend whole day in line.
