I took a great class at Sew Bromo, all about creating Tech Packages and communicating a prototype design to the manufacturers. It was so informative and it was great meeting other people in Baltimore who are involved in garment making. This is a great resource and place to learn. I would definitely take another class with this group.

I had a sewing machine I had never used for years - and finally took a weekend class with SEW BROMO. What an amazing experience! We learned the basics of the machine, and at the end of the weekend had made a t-shirt and pair of pants. I am really looking forward to attending more of their classes - it was such a good experience overall and I came away having learnt more than I thought I would in a weekend.

Sew Bromo exceeded my expectations! The instructors were very knowledgeable, established in the fashion industry, and diverse backgrounds. I liked the course format - virtual and/or in-person (by Appt) the facility is inspiring — l was able to attend training on-site at the factory and I loved the experience because I got into the mindset of being a CEO vs. Artist. In under a year I was able to launch my pet apparel line with the guidance of Sew Bromo. Obviously I highly recommend signing up for courses if you want to take your idea to the next level.

SEW BROMO is refreshing addition to Baltimore’s growing fashion community. Its pay-per-workshop model provides an affordable means to learning about industry topics that are typically reserved for fashion school. As a self-taught fashion designer, their Tech Pack and Costing and Factory and Garment Production workshops were super informative and eye opening. I could go on and on, but I’ll end by tipping my hat to the founders and encouraging anyone who is thinking about a workshop to definitely sign up for one!
