The customer service with Washington mutual apartments/ co-op is non existent, no Communication and very unprofessional after an approval back in November 2019 , no one within management was available to show the property after being promised on several occasions then to top it all off the day that we were shown the last left over unit we were told by Megan we needed 2,239 dollars which included a 1500 membership fee that wasn’t mentioned until today December 27th . What makes my experience so much more frustrating was from the beginning of the application process we’ve mentioned several times that our lease that we currently are in expires December 27 2019 they waited until the day that I needed to renew to speak of a membership fee of 1500

I lived here for 2 years (2014-2015) while working 2 blocks away at Hopkins hospital. I didn't have a single issue here and the upkeep and continual maintenance was overboard if anything! It was so cheap and the place was convenient to fells and public transport. Highly recommend it!

WHMH on the outside looking is a good co-op maintaining a quality of life to those who wish to live in the city and not be strangled by the ever raising cost of living downtown. Its a good location, maintained by staff and members of the WHMH staff. And residents are know to move in and live here for years. But this review is to inform that if it's to good to be true than maybe it is. I would encourage those seeking to live here to do your research, ask questions about the unit, about the prior tenant and their reason for leaving, neighbors, complaints. It very well might be the place for you, but if it isn't it comes at a cost to you. I have lived here for two years and I am moving because as many upsides as this community has I have run into equal enough reasons to leave. Speaking for just my building, apartment there has been issues with unlocked doors, slamming doors, loud neighbors, kids stomping overhead. And in the first year I complained and followed up. Progress was slow, eventually I met with board members with my concerns. The gains were minimum while the host of issues stayed the same. With turn over in staff and my communications went unanswered I soon give up on long term staying here. By no means is this my first apartment in city, but with the promise the place pose when I first move here it is defiantly the most disappointing experience thus far. Hopefully for the next member it will be better. So in ending, do your research on this place especially if you get offered 133 N. Broadway, first floor. Hold the community, staff accountable to the same standards you were require to meet in becoming a member.
