I am a southern California horse instructor, navy disabled veteran. I use horses as part of my therapy and have my own babies. I was visiting family in Idaho and it has always been on my bucket list to ride in the Idaho mountains. Thank you to Wyatt and Lazy R Ranch who made that possible for me. The horses are very well trained and very safe for those who dont know, and also very fun for those who are very adventurous. Wyatt paired each pony with the appropriate person, and he safely taught those who needed more attention ( that was most impressive to me) we saw deer some cows and the most breath taking views ever. so thank you again for giving this cowgirl from out of state an adventure that is good for the soul. You can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of me.

OWNER PLEASE CALL - You have my number as I've tried calling multiple times for both numbers on the website. Replying via google is not the best way to close the gap on this issue and the current reply isn't correct for how soon we tried to contact the team to see what could be done. Notice was not 1.5 hours, it was 12 hours which this is the exact time we were notified and respected the Lazy R by staying away. Its a shame and upsetting that Lazy R folks are not able to show the same respect by at least trying to work with us. Experience/review with Lazy R on the Horse Trail ride services they provide. Recommend to view their policies before booking (also challenging their policies in this review). Not reasonable in our current times with Covid. We had to cancel last minute due to news of potential exposure and Bryan Moses would not consider our circumstances and decision to respect the Lazy R team and their customers by staying home and trying to reschedule. Mr. Moses offered a 15% off of another scheduled ride but this was more of an insult than a true offer to work with us. Lacking customer focus. From the list of text messages (inefficient), his main thing was only to get people in the saddle with no consideration of anything else. Requested a phone call but was denied. Requested that he closed the gap on why the current policies are the way they were and dodged the question. Still early in the day so may be reached later so will update then if we can come to terms. Understand that we will not receive a refund due to the current policies which was a weekend rate X4 so beware before you book with them. Recommend to Lazy R as a business, that they reconsider their current policies for future customers. We were not trying to abuse your policies by reaching out to work with you to reschedule!

Fantastic trail riding experience across their beautiful land. Highly recommend it. Took our two kids, didn't have to worry about them once in terms of safety, or nerves (neither had ridden before). Very relaxing for the whole family.

I second shot a wedding at the Lazy R Ranch and it was an awesome venue! They have an indoor section in the barn that can be used for the reception. It has a few rooms and restrooms for getting ready and a kitchen to store the food and baked goods. Within walking distance, they have a beautiful ceremony space surrounded by trees. The owners and helpers around the farm are super nice and very accommodating! The only thing I would be aware of when wanting to book as a venue, getting to the ranch can be a little difficult. You can access it two ways, but one of the ways (near Banks), is up a pretty steep, long dirt road. The paths around the ranch are all dirt too, so not a big deal, but something you might want to know! Overall, a lovely spot to host a wedding that feels remote and in nature!
