Food was delicious and tasted fresh. We went two times during our short stay in Bar Harbor and ordered different dishes both times- all was yummy! Kids loved the momo dumplings, tandoori chicken and butter naan. Can’t wait to go back.

Went to Bar Harbor for a Quick family Vacation a few weeks back. This place had outdoor seating and appeared to be Covid Compliant where all the staff was wearing masks. We love Indian food and always try to find a an Indian place while we are on vacation. This was a place that came up when we did a search and it had good reviews. Our food was delicious and the portions were generous as sometimes I find the portions to be somewhat lacking. The food was tasty and the kids and I enjoyed it. The do not doctor it like some places by putting a lot of heavy cream or butter. I would recommend this place for some good home cooked Indian food.

This is an excellent, local, family-owned and operated restaurant!!! We were greeted and seated by the owners with a high level of hospitality and kindness. The food was all freshly made. Ordered coconut chicken, lamb vindaloo, navaratan korma with garlic naan and chai tea - it was all delicious with authentic spice levels, which could be altered if needed, and served with basmati rice in a timely fashion. The bathrooms were sufficient, clean, though could use updating, though if this would bother you, don't visit small coastal towns anywhere in the world, please. The prayer wheels were a beautiful and authentic touch, and I was extremely happy that the hand sanitizer was located next to each, to enjoy them without worry of contamination. I'll be back!

Food was amazing. My and my friends came up from DC, and to be honest - Were not expecting the greatest food, but it was great ! A bonus - If you visit during the winter, they will be the one who of VERY few places open on Bar Harbor. Highly recommended !

Had to write this review because this may possibly be the worst Indian restaurant I’ve been to…and I’ve eaten at numerous Indian restaurants (mostly in NYC) and been to India. I was surprised to find an Indian spot in Bar Harbor, and I admit I was skeptical. I read the reviews on both Google and Yelp and this spot has generally good reviews. My family and I have been in Maine for 5 days and wanted something other than lobster and seafood, so we decided to try this restaurant…on our last night in Bar Harbor. Our table of 8 ordered mango lassis, samosas, garlic naan and 6 entrees. The mango lassis were good and pretty standard; nothing to write home about. Waited about 40 minutes for the samosa appetizers to come out. They were just OK. Curried potatoes and some peas. Not really flavorful. One minute later, our entrees come out. Everything was BLAND. From the Palak Paneer to Chicken Korma to the Saag Mushroom and the Chana Masala. Everyone single person said their dish was NOT GOOD. Lack of salt AND spices. No one really finished their dish. Garlic naan hardly had any garlic and was doughy. WORST of all the rice was SOGGY. Clumped together (see pictures). I have never been to an Indian restaurant where the basmati rice was like this. We notified the manager and possibly owner about the rice and replaced it for us. The new rice came out a little better but by that time everyone didn’t even want to eat anymore. Don’t bother coming here unless you want bland entrees, soggy rice and doughy naan. Overpriced for this quality of food. What a disappointing end to our trip in Bar Harbor.

Great experience & we highly recommend it! :) - The food was so good and so tasty. Very high quality - We went here twice during our week stay in Bar Harbor because it was so good, fair priced and quick service - We had a little wait for a table. Relatively quick service - Fair price for a tourist town. No complaints at all

We had a great experience at this Indian restaurant in Bar Harbor—and we come from NYC, where Indian restaurants abound. I ordered a great butter lobster (yum! Can’t get that in Brooklyn), and my boyfriend had a half tandoori chicken. We devoured both, along with some very fresh sesame naan, a couple of thick mango lassis, and a delicately spiced masala Chai tea (real Chai). We sat indoors (which is allowed in Maine now), but would have loved a table on the patio, which was super cute with a handle of heat lamps and some very happy looking diners. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely delicious food! Recommend the momo, and any of the Curry’s (the chai is delicious too). Really great, kind service too!
