Best library ever!!! I go at least 1-2 times/wk. So many great things to say, so let's number them: 1. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and inviting. I always get a large number of items and their always helpful and kind about it. 2. The kids section is truly amazing!! Before covid-19 occurred, I would take my toddler and autistic 6yr old to play and brouse there. The staff have even helped us clean up toys when my autistic son would have a fit. Which they were always kind and understanding about. 3. They have an AMAZING selection of items. If they don't have what your looking for, then go to the website and search. There you will find other libraries that you can place holds with and have materials shipped to barberton for you to pick up. 4. They are extremely considerate of the covid-19 outbreak. They offer outside pickup, sanitizer at the doors, and give free masks if needed. The whole library is set up to insure safe social distancing. 5. There is an elevator to assist disabled customers to each floor of the library. 6. The library is also a very community oriented place. They provide all the information you need about Barberton and events going on in the area. They offer take home crafts for children of all ages and free parenting and community magazines. If there's any questions you have about the area, just ask and they usually know. I did read a couple bad reviews, which are absolutely incorrect statements about this wonderful place. There's not a single rude worker. They are never judgemental of anyone. I also have never come acrossed a dirty item either. Those reviews are false statements and I know that for a fact. Go check the beautiful library out for yourself and see how truly amazing it is!!!

I always thought it was cool that Barberton Public Library was it’s own entity instead of being connected to all the other Akron-Summit County Public Libraries. (you get a purple card instead of the orange one) I’ve been to many libraries and this is probably my favorite one. Very unique. You can take a elevator down to the basement and check out the Barberton Historical Society and learn a lot while exploring memorabilia. Or you can take an elevator to the top floor and mess around with their nice computers. Fun fact, I will forever remember vividly being here on the computer that fateful day in June 2009 when I read the news that Michael Jackson died. Beautiful window view too if you want to occasionally gaze out at Lake Anna while reading a Goosebumps book.

The people are really nice and friendly here. the only thing is over 3/4 of the time they don't have the movies there you want. the main thing I gave it 5 Star for is because you can put them on hold and they'll get them from a different location.
