Very down to earth vineyard with outstanding wine! The Mrs. And I enjoyed a tasting with who I assumed is the owner. Ended up buying 6 bottles of his outstanding reds. We throughly enjoyed our conversations with this gentleman and exchange a few sea-stories too. Thank you Chief!

We had a wonderful experience at this vineyard! Robert was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and had some great stories to share. Not to mention the wine was tasty! He was also a gracious host, allowing us to stay overnight on the property in our RV through Harvest Hosts. The property is peaceful and has great views of the mountains and sunset.

Very weird experience. Not a real tasting room, just four walls and a folding table. Two vintages of the same Chambourcin, each one served chilled and unchilled. Not great wine, would be better utilized in a blend. Honestly we bought a bottle because we felt bad for this vet-owned company and their grapes did not do well this year. Not a cutesy wine tasting experience.

You are confusing me w/ somebody else b/c I brought no infant. The 1-star is for your wine, which I considered despite your & its reputation in the area. Gave you the opportunity; tried to be fair, but you exceeded my lowest expectations.

My husband and I just had the privilege to enjoy this vineyard. I left really having enjoyed the visit then I went to write a review and saw past reviews. Most are great but there are a couple that weren't. Quite frankly those couple made me wonder what they knew about wine and the wine business. It takes a lot to start a vineyard not just in the farm part of it but the wine making and the creating of a environment where people enjoy the experience. Yes the vineyard is new in the life of vines and as such I'm happy to say I enjoyed the wine he (Mr. Shepard, Jr.) Has this created. I enjoyed the rustic tasting area knowing the industry, I enjoyed his company and am thankful for his service to our country. I will recommend his winery to those I know whom will also appreciate the beginning of a great winery. I look forward to our continued visits. Thank you sir for a lovely experience.
