Southern Charm Venues is everything we ever hoped for and more. Driving up my now husband said if this place is what we want it is in the perfect location...It was stunning! The chandeliers that Sinatra sang under and all of the charming décor throughout the reception area were so elegant and tasteful. The men's and ladies restrooms feature two icons Audrey Hepburn and John Wayne. There were so many little thing other venues would charge extra for, including but not limited to the wood rounds for tables and table numbers... seriously it matters. We were in love and both held hands and said we've found the place our journey begins... Then we met the owners Jerry and Terri whom I now refer to is Aunt Terri and Uncle Jerry two of the most influential people I could count on when planning our wedding. Terri is experienced and knows what she is doing I am so grateful for her guidance and suggesting maybe don't do the rehearsal dinner at the pizza parlor above the bowling alley... but she also offered guidance and caring in uncertain times. When we were engaged in March of 2019 we never would have expected a year later to be going through a Pandemic. I stayed in close contact wife Terri worried our dream day would never come. She calmed me every step of the way and made me certain that God has a plan. Well that plan included Jerry, Terri and Southern Charm venues and we are forever grateful it did!!! Love Faith and Nick

This place is truly magical! Don't bother looking elsewhere! My daughter's wedding was here and Terry and Jerry are the absolute best to work with. You get that personal touch here you just don't get anymore!!! It made the whole experience that much better and Terry and Jerry are on hand during the event to make sure everything goes smoothly and assist with any needs. Thank you Terry and Jerry for providing a truly memorable day!

We just got married here on April 27th, 2019, and it was absolutely AMAZING. All of our guests LOVED this venue. It was beautifully and perfectly decorated, you can dress up or dress down, the reception hall is quite large, and even with 200 guests we still had a large dance floor. The ceremony is also held there so no one has to travel between places. The owners Terri and Jerry are very accommodating and helpful, they really help make your day go as smooth as possible. They have heat and air conditioning, and also have beautiful bathrooms. There is a bridal suite where the bridal party and bride can hang out before and after the ceremony/reception, and it also has a private bathroom. Overall, this place was perfect and I wouldn't have changed anything!!

This was the perfect place for our daughter's wedding reception!! We were so pleased with everything-from dealing with Terri, the owner, through the planning process, to the beautiful decor in the venue, and the personal care shown on the day of the wedding. Both owners were on hand during the entire reception to make sure all was going well. I would highly recommend Southern Charm if you are looking for a country type feel for a Chicago wedding!
