Highly recommend everyone go to Barrier Island! Went today and had a great experience. Kayaks, cold bottled water, dry packs, life jackets- even sifters to hunt for shark teeth- everything you need included. Their patience and kindness were the icing on the cake. will be back! Thank you for a great morning.

After trying several kayak places in the area, Barrier Island Kayaks is by far the best! Josh was willing to go above and beyond getting us all setup and started. So many amenities included in the trip. I even seen a group of kayakers struggling to paddle, and there goes Josh on a kayak with speed to get to them. He then instructed them on the beat way to paddle and what direction to take to get to sharks tooth island. I will be sending all my friends to see Josh in the future! Highly recommend!

My family and I had an amazing experience here! We went here on our family vacation and had a blast! The staff were amazing and helpful; Atticus the pup was so sweet! We had so much fun and I would definitely recommend!

2nd weekend in a row and we've enjoyed it both times. The location is ideal for us beginners with just one quick pass out and back across boat traffic to get to the best area to paddle around. Staff has been great to work with. Highly recommend!
