Discovered during a check ct for a heart ablation that my chest, abdomen and pelvis were filled with dozens of huge lymph nodes. Some wrapped around organs like my heart, lungs, liver and kidneys. Dx 1 day later with stage 3B Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma an aggressive, but treatable subtype called diffuse large B cell. I had dx, testing, portacath put inplace and my first chemo with a week. I survived. It has been 9.5 years...I cannot tell you what a great, aupportive facility and group this is. Thank you. I was able to watch my 9 year old daughter grow up and graduate from high school. You all are responsible for that loving milestone.
