They have had a year to figure out a workable covid process for drivers license renewal, and have failed miserably. I don't understand how making appointments is so difficult? Would be much better than the process they are using currently!

After a terrible time trying to get my license at the license office, I was dreading switching my tags because I thought it would be a similar experience, but it couldn't have been further from that!! I literally walked right in and was helped right away. I was finished and left within 10-15 minutes of getting there! The woman who helped me was super nice, I definitely recommend coming here!
Seriously could not be more pleased! I have never liked going to Tag offices, but the level of service and the kindness they showed while helping me was outstanding! They are first class and I need to give major props to Danielle for her understanding. I didn't know what I was doing, she did, enough said! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to making this experience a first class one. You are greatly appreciated!

HERE IS A SOLUTION TO THE DRIVERS LICENSE RENEWAL/REPLACEMENT ISSUE... It seems the new computer systems for REAL ID licenses are causing significant delays/slowdowns at the Tag Agency. This is because they can only process approx 25 a day, when there is probably a demand of 50 a day and the backlog will never be solved without extending hours of operation or being open on Saturday. PROBLEM SOLVED: If you don't need a REAL ID (ie you already have a passport or don't fly or visit federal facilities) just go online to my.ok.gov and do it all from the comfortable confines of your own home. No need to mingle with the horde waiting outside at 830 hoping you aren't #26 in line waiting to get an appointment for the day. Vehicle registrations, tag renewals and other non-DL related transactions are quick and efficient, however at this location.
