I get what people are saying but I'm grateful to have a local place that does UPS and is more than a drop box. I send several packages a year and have never had a problem. Once I learned to call ahead it solved the problem of the place not being open when I got there. I used to work at a place that provided this same service. There's some work involved in logging in packages and, of course, someone has to be there when the driver arrives. That place charged a dollar, too. It's not like anyone is getting rich doing this. To me, the convenience is worth the small cost.

UPS should re-consider this as a pick-up location. It was listed as \open\ on-line, so I drove half an hour to drop off important papers - it was closed - no sign of life. Flash forward 6 months - I had to ship via UPS again. When I droppped off my package the guy there told me there was a 1 drop-off fee. I didn't have any cash on me, so he waived the fee. I have used UPS at a lot of places around the country and not once did any one ever try to collect a \drop off fee.
I've gone there several times and always closed but website says open. Big inconvenience having to drive to Corning. UPS should revamp this store or get a new location in Bath.
Rude service, do not use this store for your ups needs, Ups needs to consider a more customer service friendly facility, messy unorganized facility for shipping needs
