Lovely experience every time I go. Lunch or dinner, the food is excellent. Staff is wonderful, always great vibes. It's a cozy place with big energy. I've had almost everything on their menu at one time or another, and everything's been a hit. Excellent place for a date night, business lunch, or just a casual catch-up dinner with an old friend. Easily one of the best spots in Baton Rouge, at probably the best value. Highly recommend.

This review is solely on the appetizers. I absolutely love the cornbread in the cast iron skillet, chicken and sausage gumbo and alligator bites. Who ever does the fried food is the real MVP. I have also tried the crab cakes and the oysters. I frequently visit this place because I live near it. You will never have to wait to be served. The service is always great. The bar area is the best place to me. I do like how it is decorated. The other item on the menu is very different, Not the typical fried catfish and etouffee. So dare to be different and give them a try.

My boyfriend and I went for an anniversary dinner and everything was amazing! Wonderful romantic atmosphere. Perfect for date night. Everything from drinks, appetizers, entrees, dessert was top notch. At one time, they played rock music that didn’t fit the vibe of the restaurant, but that was only one song. Otherwise it went without a hitch. Would definitely recommend and go back here.

Omg, this place was great. I normally don't finish my entree' but we had appetizers as well and ate every bit of it.. Our drinks were amazing and the young lady that waited on us even made my 16yr old daughter a non-alcoholic drink from scratch and it was so good. Definitely recommend this little quaint spot.
