What can I say....by far the best craft tacos in town. And don't get me started on that Gov't vibe... nailed it with the theme So glad they got their own brick and mortar and I try to share their deliciousness with every Govt Taco virgin I meet. You really can't go wrong with any you choose, but if I had to choose, here are my top 3: clucks & balances Socialism Buffalo bill And don't forget the govt deal with queso and the corn!!! You will be full and happy

I definitely enjoyed my time at Gov't Taco! There are only a few vegetarian options, but they're all delicious! I recommend the black bean dip - so flavorful and great portion size! They have a great drink menu as well! The parking is a bit limited (as Gov't Taco shares a lot with the adjacent Cypress Coast Brewing) so it can be tricky to snag a spot. I was informed by a sheriff that parking at the Fleur De Lis lot across the street is prohibited as well, so be careful!
I wish I could rate this higher than 5 stars. From start to finish, this was a delightful experience. The QR menu codes on the posts outside was genius. The staff was great. The decor is beyond on point. The food and drinks are memorable and delicious. I highly suggest y’all check it out! Well done, Jay and team! We will be back!
Poor customer service especially during lunch. They pretty much slap your food down in front of you without barely a smile. Their bartenders, except 1 or 2, can’t make a decent drink to save their life. Which is weird because when they opened I didn’t have that problem. I guess they had turnover because now their drinks taste like it has no alcohol in it. On top of it, their managers are incredibly rude except for the owner. Treat you like you should be honored for eating there. If you’re looking for unique tacos that are mostly hit or miss and way overpriced, I’d avoid it.
Buffalo Bill and the Steak of the union tacos are great. The owner is very friendly and nice too. He came around talking to everyone.
