Food was great. I think the price for the buffet is a little high, but I guess it is all you can eat. I would go back because it is hard to find good pizza in Baton Rouge.

Best Pizza on the PLANET!! You can't beat the price alongside a wide variety of delicious pies. The in house staff have always been upbeat and willing to make whatever pizza you desire. They are constantly creative in the dessert pizza realm as well. From cinnamon all the way to S'mores pizza (pictured below), it is simply OUTSTANDING!! I recently returned to Mr. Gatti's on Essen Ln in Baton Rouge, following years of living out of town. JUST WOW. Same excellent food and service across the board. Philip Moody has been doing a great job at this location!! Thank you Mr. Gatti's!!!
Fresh hot pizzas steadily coming out to the buffet. Friendly staff, asks if you have any requests for buffet. Clean dining room. If you like buffet style pizzas, then you'll enjoy your visit.

I have eaten at Mr. Gatti's on Essen lane since I was a kid. Now I bring mine. It is a great value and consistently good. The sampler is my favorite. The cheesey bread is also good. The desert cinnamon pizza is a treat.
