Talk about amazing customer service! I did an online order for curbside pickup and my order was running behind (no biggie since this is the first time my order has ever run behind and we order here at least once a week). When I called to check on the eta, they said the order was running behind because they were out of bananas for the banana pudding and they literally sent an employee across the street to get more bananas at Walmart. Dude... that’s commitment lol. I even saw the employee running across the street to Walmart while I was waiting, but didn’t think anything of it. Oh, and not to mention the food is amazing as always! I forgot the employee’s name but thank you a ton, my dude!

My partner and I decided to grab some southern Cajun cooking prior to heading back to Texas. We stopped in Rice & Roux which is pretty much a hole in the wall. Nothing fancy about this place, but the food sure is good for the price. For under 15 you can get a sampler of jambalaya, gumbo, a dinner side, a dinner roll, drink and one entree. I had a sampler combo #2 with the boudin. It was pretty tasty but my favorite had to be the gumbo; perfectly seasoned and the meat was blended well. If I do come back it sure will be for the gumbo. My partner loved his red beans and rice! Overall, if you are in this area and want a taste of Cajun this is a perfect spot to stop by and fix your cravings.

The gumbo taste like rice and water! The potato salad (should have known) was...I can’t even explain...like...somebody had already threw up. I have never spit out gumbo no matter how bad but this place almost made me throw up. Never!!! Have I ever had something this bad. I keep trying to put half a star but I can’t!!! God bless

This restaurant is always the best. Great service, great people, great jambalaya, clean and inviting eating area with plenty condiments. The restroom is a bit small and uncomfortable but, that really has no importance for our purposes as we are in our motorhome when we stop by. We drive 2 hours for this stuff it's so good!
