Life becomes a challenge when you decide to fix something you've had a long time and need a part. After numerous calls to find a place to accommodate my request to fix my sewing machine, and assist in the process, I was reminded of the crooked salesmanship that's out there. Luckily for me, this place has renewed my faith in good people. John had the patience to explain the pertinent functional parts, and we troubleshot it together. They also sell everything related to sewing.
I rarely write reviews, but this place is such a gem that I had to write one. Suzie and John are business owners who care for their customers. They excelled in their craft and repaired my mother's old sewing machine. They were very quick, kind, and pure professionals. I highly recommend going here if you don't want the hassle. They won't disappoint you!
I was looking for fabric to make curtains for one particular window and was pleasantly surprised to see the selection of fabrics available. Classes are given for anyone interested on learning to sew. The owners are friendly, courteous and willing to answer questions I had a very good experience and highly recommend them.
Simply the best sewing shop in the city of New York. I’ve gone to a lot of other places, but I felt at home here. They teach everyone, including men. Large selection and a professional service in a great atmosphere. Prices are cheaper here too...
