Always enjoy my stay here! Very much enjoying the new lobby and bar area, as well as the heated pool as usual. I’ve been here several times and it has only gotten better. I love the close proximity to the beach and kicking back at the bar by the beach for cocktails. The hotel is being remodeled and making it an even better experience every time. Great times. Great place!

1 star for good character... Waited for my room to be cleaned and it wasnt even clean .this is nasty.. I reserved the biggest sweet they had. Tollet don't work, bathroom looks like a truck stop. Elevator was broken, no view, outside is dirty and nasty looking and old.and not even a bag breakfast ... Where's the resort ? ???
I had doubts about not staying at our usual spot - The Pearl. But, I arrived hopeful. Aside from poorly visible signage, the staff met minimal standards of customer service. The bartenders were the only thing going for this hotel. We were checked in at 5:30 p.m. into a dirty room - beds used, takeout trash and all of the towels used and on the floor. We were left to wait 2 hours in this dirty room until 7:30 p.m. when we were taken to our new room. No apologies. No contact made to us by management. No customer service. They actually made us feel like it was our fault that they had to clean another room and that it was an inconvenience to them! We will never be back at this establishment.
First I recommend they need to fix the elevators because every time we got on it, it would shake, wires would creak and it would drop a couple inches also a couple of times the doors would get stuck and take moment to open. also to many repairs going on especially during the day, which prevented us walking by peacefully and not being able to breath due to a jackhammer being used in the hall way which also caused a loud echoing noise that hurt our ears when walking by to pool or out of the building. we were charged for resort fees for a resort that was not completed. Also every night we got in to our room it would look smoky and have a super strong odor that smelled like marijuana due to people smoking next door and nothing being done
Amazing place with killer views. The high rise next to the beach has a fifth floor with great sea views as well as a spot to look at the SpaceX launch pad. Three pools, one heated, easy access to the beach and a spot to rinse off your feet afterward. Loved our stay here.
Very clean and modern resort. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Good rooms and the bar in the pool was also very cool
We had major check-in issues. Check-in was anywhere between 3 & 4 (i've never seen that before, there is usually a specific checkin time). They told us that they didn't have any clean rooms yet like the one we booked so we hung out at the pool patiently but did not get into a room till 5:30. When we got to the room the key didn't work. A staff member came to open the door, when we walked in we saw that it had not actually been cleaned. We then waited another hour till we got another room. I have never had an issue like this at another hotel before. I am not sure if there was miscommunication amongst the staff or what. A lot of the staff were very nice, so I wish I could give a better recommendation. Everyone has bad days so we may have just happened to see them on a bad day.
Stayed Dec. 8-16, 2020 to celebrate our anniversary. Originally booked at The Pearl (nextdoor) but were VERY disappointed with the service and cleanliness! Walked over to The Beach Resort and were greeted by the friendly staff who assured us the hotel was clean and even let us see the rooms so we weren't disappointed again. The rooms were clean, the ocean view rooms are REAL ocean views, not just looking halfway from the distance with buildings obscuring the view. They let us upgrade to a king room the following day once one was available.. The beachside bar and grill is right on the beach and has excellent food, service and GREAT STAFF! Their breakfast was absolutely amazing and a great way to wake up right on the beach. They were doing renovations while we were there and asked US if we would be okay with THEM replacing the carpeting in the hall on our floor. We felt very catered to and enjoyed everything about our stay with them. We look forward to going back and highly recommend others to check this place out! You won't be disappointed! P.S. PARENTS!!! Part of the renovations involves a kids club going in!
