Best experience EVER renting in Surfside! Denise, the owner, spent a lot of time with me helping to figure out and advise which home was the best one for our family. You don't get that kind of service through VRBO or Airbnb. The house we stayed at (Half Moon...highly recommend) had a kayak but someone stole the oars - Drew (Beach Resort Services) arranged for someone to deliver them to us so we could continue enjoying ourselves on the beach with family. They also made great recommendations for restaurants, etc...The weather was fantastic for most of the trip (2 hurricanes in the gulf ran us off otherwise we would have stayed longer). Honestly, we didn't want to leave. It was a wonderful escape for our family and just wanted to give a BIG THANK YOU to Denise, Hope and Drew at Beach Resort Services. You made us feel like VIP's and really made our trip memorable. You are the only company we will rent from in the future. Highly recommend!!!

Great service
Unfortunately, not a great experience. Nice enough house with close beach proximity but was not very clean and had a moldy dog smell. Following the weekend,, both of the children on our trip ended up getting sick, neither were sick prior. After speaking with our pediatricians they both, separately, informed us it was likely due to presence of mold in the house. The issue was brought to the management's attention and they were initially unresponsive. Airbnb assisted in communication and they finally got back. Ultimately, the company informed us that it was our fault that we didn't report it immediately. While we understand that may have helped the process, it is still disappointing that they were very inflexible and unapologetic about our overall experience. We also didn't know the extent to which we would be impacted by the home's moldly smell. We paid quiet a lot for 3 days, and it seems they could have had better customer service following the trip. Wish I could recommend using their properties but I would be hesitant unless you want to use your vacation time to complain!
We just left today and it was a great experience. Dave waves was only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Every question was answered and we had a great time I this beach house.
Just a quick review for Beach Resort Services in Surfside, TX. Denise was so easy to work with and she will make right on any problems you might encounter. Easy to look good when all is right but Denise came through when nothing was right. Professional and caring.
