I had to go to the ED (ER) last nice. I was so concerned about my health. They treated me like I was trash. They were extremely condescending and insensitive. I’d call to report the female PA (Aubrey) and the female NP student, but I can’t bring myself down to their level. I did not even get to see a physician. I understand the process of triage. However, I guess my situation was not important enough to them. If you should decide to go into medicine, please learn compassion, how to treat others, and ask the patient if they understand medical jargon before you assume it is above their head.

I recently was hospitalized at Ahuja due to a Pulmonary Embolism. My care team was amazing! My doctor, the nurses, the nurse’s assistants — they all were very responsive, knowledgeable and super personable. I felt comfortable and at ease in what initially was a very scary situation for me.
