We have used Beacon for a number of years. We love that they are close, that they are family owned with extensive experience in different areas of financial services. We work with Troy for our taxes and he always does a great job, is responsive, knowledgeable and prompt. We needed to expedite some things last year to meet our deadline for mortgage on home we were buying and Troy came through. They have also helped us change and set up new biz structure. Always a good experience.

If I could give zero stars I would. I called to get a consultation, and spoke to Troy, and was called back and told that I wouldn't be a \good fit\, and should go to \H&R block\ because they judged my phone number and said I must have chosen it. So I wouldn't be a good fit as a client for them. Firstly, I didn't choose my phone number, the phone number was random, and I sell exclusively on Etsy where my clients don't even see my number, so that isn't even \my marketing\. They assume a lot!! I'm glad that they saved me from being their client, because I would not want to do business with ignorant, judgmental people like them.

When dealing with taxes life can never be easy. I was referred to Troy and I was so amazed at how willing he was to help me and how knowledgeable he was about my situation. He took the time to do multiple phone calls and emails to answer any questions I had. If you are a business owner or just needing your personal taxes file he is someone you should reach out to. He even offers a free 1 hour class for small business owners to help with setting up the taxes and answering questions etc. Troy is very nice, patient, eager to help, and overall very professional. Highly recommended!!

Brad dropped the ball big time! He completely missed that our taxes, that he filed, got kicked back due to identity theft. This left our family and small business in a HUGE mess that we had to work our way through without any help from Beacon or Brad. They had 1 job... file our taxes! they didn’t do that or stand behind their error.
