The cabins so old, there haven't been done any remodeling long long time. Probably they do surface cleaning, but not complete, because walls are dirty, you will see spiders and spiderweb in a different areas. Microwave and oven from 60s were fatty sticky, it was unpleasant to use, but you won't have a choice if want to eat something. The air conditioner system so old, i haven't been seen it before, it's terrible loud, at night you will have to choose either you won't sleep from loud ac either you will turn it off and won't sleep because of the hot and stuffy inside. The towels yellowish with spots and someone's hairs, I've been regretted that didn't bring my own. Bed linens too old as well. Toilet doesn't flash everything in one time. They do have coffee machine and no coffee, bring your own. Wi-Fi doesn't work in that cabins, and no mobile net works there as well, except if you have Verizon. We didn't have internet there, no calls, no messages, they will give you password from wi-fi, but it's absolutely worthless, because it's catching far from the cabins. The road to the cabins is not paved. And it's very dark and scary at night, you're out of city in the forest. Maybe that cabins will be fine for young company who don't care, but definitely that place not for family with kids. There's no stores around, you need to drive maybe 30 min to reach one.
The property is good with all necessities appropriately taken care of. It might be difficult to reach without navigation since the sign board can be easily missed. A nice stay overall.
We had 3 nights booked for a family vacation, we left after the 1st night. The property grounds are not kept up at all, discarded appliances lying around, grills that were provided were rusted out, other items randomly left on the front porch of the cabin we were assigned. Once we were inside, the decor and linens was extremely dated and worn. Cob webs hung on the lamp and from some areas of the ceiling. The AC was extremely loud and almost industrial like. In the restroom, we first found a dirty washcloth hanging over the shower curtain rod, the tub was dirty and stained, more cobwebs, the mirrors looked like they were left over from the 1800s, cracked floor tiles and a bucket for a trashcan. Moving into the kitchen area; opened the refrigerator to find a coffee cup full of some type of liquid, the light fixture was falling from the ceiling, countertops were chipped and marred. Extremely disappointed and ripped off, STAY AWAY!!!
Louann was s delight, as was our stay. Very low key and secluded, Just what we were looking for.
So this was a while ago but I didn't really enjoy it because First The lock didn't work then we didn't have any way to Have Mobile Data usage so we couldn't call anybody or text, one of the bathrooms had a window where there was a crack so you couldn't close it all the way so it was always freezing. To be honest I really did try to have fun and I couldn't, the only reason I gave 2 stars was because the person who was letting us stay gave us a refund.
