Food was ok but a bit on the pricey side. Serving size is good for 2 people and since it was a carry out order, it was packaged really well. The Japchae was spot on. Overall great comfort food.

A solid place to get some authentic Korean food and also do some shopping afterwards. They recently reopen with indoor dining, but can do take out. I usually get their soups here as they are great for the cold weather. The yukgaejang is solid. Their soontofu is also good. I haven't had a bad meal here. When you order to-go, they do a great job of packing it up to make sure nothing gets spilled.
I just like the coziness and earthy feel and food is almost like home cooking.
My husband and I were highly satisfied to have come across this restaurant as we were passing through Portland. The food was delicious, fresh, and HOT; my soup came out bubbling. The servers were kind, responsive, and hard working. The service was quick and our food was delicious! The prices are very reasonable for how much food you end up with on your plate. I highly recommend you stop in if you are in the area or passing through. You will be pleased!
Probably the best home cooked Korean food in Portland area. I love this place! It's tucked away inside of G-mart all the way in the back and upstairs in what you think is the store room. Great food and they always give you tons of banchan(Korean side dishes) with your main dish.
