DON’T STOP IF YOU NEED SLEEP!! Used to be one of my favorite places to stop, have the best showers... HOWEVER, the last two times I’ve stopped I’ve been surrounded by FedEx contractors using the parking lot as a switching ground - there is a designated row for this, they were not in it. I was dead tired and just wanted to sleep...no regard for the other drivers around them. Asked an employee at the travel stop about it and he just shrugged his shoulders. Trucks on both sides dropping trailers and slamming into new ones...Rude!!!

Wonderful place to stop and take a load off your feet , or relax and do some sightseeing lots of historic activities close at hand .Go a head grab some gas, a snack and allow your inner child to look around the area many things to see and do while resting your mind from or getting ready for the turnpike!!!
Monster sized lot. Food choices are slim. There's 4 places inside but 3 out of 4 are always closed. Burger King is the only thing open all the time??
Lots of parking. And if the car and semi parking are is full, you can go up the hill to the conference center and park your RV there. Well maintained bathrooms.
I really like this travel plaza. Wish I had time to do a thirty-four here. It has everything you could possibly need. It's got a huge parking lot for truckers and it's very well lit at night. Several restaurants to choose from and they have a nice little gift shop! The people I met were very friendly. They even have showers with an attendant on duty. Plus, it's safe enough that you can walk to stretch your legs or walk your pets. I will most definitely stop again.
