If I was Methodist this would be where I went to church. My family and I have needed help financially with bills and food in the past, and this church and it's congregation have always stepped up to do any and everything they can possibly do to get you back on track. Everyone is understanding, helpful and full of love, grace and God. They let you know that it will be ok and turn almost no one down. All I can say is you won't find better people probably most places anywhere. God bless all of them, they will for ever be in our hearts and prayers as I will be forever indebted to them.

I went to the church for the food bank but they are only open certain times of the month the Third Thursday or Tuesday of the month. When I arrived I was welcome the lady there explain to me that there food bank was not open

I must first admit that I have never actually attended a service here for First United Methodist Church. However, this is where my church meets on Saturday evenings at 5:00 pm. My church is Catch the Fire DFW. I know they are gracious hosts to allow us to use their facilities to congregate and worship as well use for other occasions such as nights of worship, youth, freedom classes, etc. It is also conveniently located right off 183 in the Mid-Cities area.
