Donate by August 31, 2020 & You Could Win an Apple iPad Pro & Accessories! Learn more. To meet community needs we’ve shifted from welcoming walk-ins to scheduled appointments only at all Bloodworks Centers and Pop-Up locations– to keep everyone safe. Additionally, we’ve spaced out center appointments, paused all mobile blood drives (buses) until at least the end of September and no one under age 16 is permitted on-site. These measures ensure safe social distancing and a safe, controlled experience for all donors and staff. It’s important for donors to keep their appointments, and make future appointments throughout the summer to ensure blood stays available in our community as we weather this pandemic together. More Info On Covid-19 UPDATE: On April 2, 2020 the FDA issued a new guidance on deferral criteria for a number of areas, including a revised deferral period for men who have sex with men (MSM); Variant Creutzfeldt-Jacob Disease, tattoos/piercings, travel, and others. We applaud the FDA’s decision an important step toward creating an equal opportunity to save lives. Bloodworks is working quickly to assess our timeline to implement these changes so more donors have the opportunity to give blood to support local patients. Read announcement. Wow. This place was so accommodating and comfortable. Covid precautions are definitely in place, all areas were cleaned immediately, and everyone's bedside manner was great. Ive donated blood across the country, and seriously this has been the best experience I've had at a donation center. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Huge shout out to (future MD) Alex, your attitude will definitely be a blessing in the medical field.

I donated to them once in September of 2018. They called me everyday for a week. I felt like a cash cow/ product. I still get spam calls asking me to donate 2 years later. Use a different company to donate. Unless you want to be harrased and cohearsed into donating.

The worse experience EVER!!! I was going to donate for the very first time today, the lady at the desk was soooooo RUDE! I registered and made an appt online, but when I get there they are asking for all my information that I registered with online. They stated that it is two different programs and they don't talk to each other. That seems fishy for a healthcare facility, it is 2021 and the programs can't speak to each other. I was very uncomfortable and expressed that along with the fact that my identity has been compromised in the past yet they didn't seem to care. I canceled by appt and will never schedule with these folks again, I will find another place that actually cares to donate blood.

Highly disappointed, been a regular donor with PSBC, and BWNW. This time they deferred me citing a travel guidance related rule which should have technically blocked me from donating blood ever, their website doesn't clearly call out the guidelines. I don't understand why they can't have questionnaire and follow up questions all taken care of before donors actually go to the center. Waste of time.

Great place to donate blood. All staff are nice and friendly. It's comfortable and you get to eat snacks and drinks after your donation. This is how blood donations go: First fill out the QuickPass Questionnaire before entering blood center. Show person at desk your ID drivers license, and QR code from QuickPass. Once done they will measure your temperature, blood pressure, blood iron levels, weight. Then they will prepare and start you for blood donation. Very easy and simple procedure. Blood donation lasts about 10 minutes, the entire process lasts about 30 min-1 hour Stop by the Canteen for some Juice and Cookies!
