If I could give less than one, I would. The woman who we checked in with was a complete witch. We happened to pay with our debit card and she practically yelled at me and condescendingly told me that they’d hold 250 dollars as a deposit and asked me if I was sure I was ok with that. She then told me that they expected the car to be clean when we returned it. When we got I to the car, I just had to laugh. The car was gross. I attached pictures of the interior of the newly rented “clean car”. There was also a used plastic spoon in the side cubby. There was also sunflower seeds that had been spit out underneath the passenger seat. So utterly gross. Thank you for reminding me of why we almost always use uber or lyft.
WARNING - DO NOT RENT HERE Rented car that was filthy, broken mirror dented doors and probably was in need of major mechanical repairs. The car was not suitable to be rented at all! The staff, particularly the lady in the office, were so rude we felt it was easier to do an exchange with another location - which Budget corporate facilitated. However we had to return the vehicle to the original location and the staff were extremely rude when they saw we had changed the car. Now we’ve received an exorbitant invoice for damages - which there were absolutely none on the returned vehicle, it was brand new! If for the customer service alone, spare yourself the pain and just rent elsewhere.
