There are as many opinions about skiing as there are . . . well, you know. Anyway, Steve's work for me. The insoles and fitting he did for me a couple of years ago were exactly what I needed, and helped me make significant progress in my skiing. Now I'm back for new liners and looking forward to reaping the benefits of and even more improved \foundation\. Likewise, his advice on technique makes clear sense to me as well. I'm looking forward to making some changes this season and I have confidence they will help me make additional gains. Does that mean I think other's advice or fitting techniques are \wrong\? Nope. Like anything else, your personal mileage will vary based on what makes sense and works for YOU. But if you're interested in seeking out information and assistance from a variety of sources, I encourage you to include Steve among them, and let me know what you think!

The guy in the store was extremely helpful. One thing that the Google address is misleading. The store is almost at the corner of Belred rd and 134th.

Steve, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable about current skis - boots & related Alpine ski gear. He has the training, certifications and credentials to back up his assessment with sound recommendations. If you're unhappy with the impersonal on-line or big box stores experience, then Steve can provide you with the personal attention and feedback of a pro. Centerline covers the whole range of skiing need from beginner to aspiring World Class racers. I've trusted Steve with boot selection, boot fitting, ski selection, ski tuning & participate with his on-hill ski academy for personal training. Highly recommend Centerline for your skiing needs.

I had a great experience today at Centerline after calling all over Seattle to find someone who would adjust my bindings in time for skiing this weekend. It's a quick job (only took him a few minutes), but no other shop would agree to do it in less than two weeks. You'd think it would be the other way around, since this is a one-man shop and this guy is obviously more skilled that what you'd find at any of the other places. He's a ski coach in his golden years and former member or the Olympic Ski Team. Damn! This place definitely has the feel of a small-town, expert-run shop, and I'll be back for sure. Don't forget cash or check though-- he doesn't accept cards.

Steve is a boot fitting master. The best!
