I had the opportunity to take some lessons at this studio. The staff is super friendly and professional. Me and my husband took some classes for the holidays with Shanice and she is great. She is an amazing dancer and she is super patient. My husband has 2 left feet and she was capable of getting him started and he is getting a quick grasp of the basics now. I'm super happy!

The review written by Jesse James is totally false and should be removed! It was obviously meant for another Dance Studio. I have been at the Pacific Dance Studio for 11 years and there has never been a Ms Caroline working there or a Teacher named Melissa. The only women Managers that have been there are are Sarah and Kristina. They are both excellent with the Students and Teachers. The only women Dance instructors at Pacific Dance Center for the last 5 years were Joanna, Lainey, Rachel and Jessica. They have all been gracious and treated all the students well. They have never yelled at the Students! There has never been a class for middle schoolers either. The students are adults that come to Pacific Dance Center. Rarely the Pacific Dance Center may have a youth class on a Saturday that are ages 6 to 12. Pacific Dance Center is a fun loving place for adults to learn to dance.

My wife and I bought a Groupon package for a series of lessons and we really enjoyed it. Joanna (our instructor) was wonderful. The experience opened our eyes to the many different styles of dance and we had a lot of fun.

I recently stopped into the Pacific Dance Center (PDC) in Bellevue. I met with Anthony McDonald who was friendly and cordial. He told me about an introductory package they were offering for basically 50.00 per person. The package included six 30 minute private lessons, two 30 minute semi private technique sessions, and two 30 minute practice sessions. My wife and I had taken a limited number of lessons in the past but it had been quite a while. I scheduled a time to come back later that day with my wife for our first lesson. During our first “lesson” my wife and I learned that the intro package was designed for those who, had never danced before and were possibly tone deaf. In other words it was the most rudimentary first time lesson one could imagine. PDC’s objective was to show a few beginning steps of the most popular dance style categories. Once this was done through the intro package, they would charge 40/person per hour to continue rolled into a 760 package. After our first \lesson\ we asked if we could focus on just a few of the categories and they agreed. My wife and I scheduled a return dance lesson a few days later. We arrived on time we were met by the owner, Ali who informed us that they did not want to instruct us and handed me a check reimbursing me for the intro package I had purchased. Ali talked a lot about how successful he was as a business person and that he could not make any money serving us. When we got home I was curious how PDC was reviewed. I found only 7 reviews with an average rating of 4.9 out of 5, the most recent done 9 months ago. Remarkably, I found a Groupon offer for 10 private lessons for less than what I had paid. I wondered if Ali was aware of the Groupon offer? I thought the way my wife and I were treated was amateurish and certainly not indicative of how to create a positive image for a business. Ali suggested we look into Arthur Murray, we certainly will do. Thanks Ali, and congrats on your successful business model.

I moved from a now defunct dance studio in Seattle to here, and I coudln't be happier. The staff is friendly, casual and fosters an enviorment of fun and learning combined. I can't recomend them enough.
