I currently have a very decent gig in downtown Seattle which pays much more than my needs. Despite that I was seeking a part-time job for which I could work perhaps one or at most two shifts and make some extra money for Seahawks games’ tickets. Got an interview with this company on a Friday morning, attended at their office on-time, but the receptionist lady said she wouldn’t let me into the interview room unless I fill their online application which, according to her, took usually FIFTY minutes! I told her I wasn’t willing to spend that much of time for a 8-hour-a-week job unless I get interviewed and ensure I get offered the position. She refused to share my request with their hiring manager and I left the office knowing that I was not in right hands.
This company was incredibly wonderful to me. The only reason that I left was for a non-contract job with the city. Otherwise I would have been more than happy to stay!
I have personally work for this company for about three years solid 40 hours a week 5 days a week then all of a sudden I was getting 16 hours a week supposedly full time I called many of time to get the situation solved considering I have children an apartment and car payment and was just basically short of ignored left on hold many time and they also refused to train me so that I could get a better site and possibly my hours back.denied put on hold so long the phone hung up and I'm an employee. I finally got the problem with my hours resolved I put in my two weeks and I'm starting at a new company next week. Sure to pay cut but after three years I would hope that they don't cut my hours from 40 to 16 to where I can barely survive
Management doesn't care about any one home work balance is nonexistent they just want you to be a good little drone
