Absolutely One of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. I had problems shortly after I purchased equipment first with the Apple remote order says “can’t be the apple has to be Comcast. Brought Comcast out and tech informed me they had changed their equipment and the Comcast technician informed me that it no longer worked with Apple so the owner was wrong. Comcast simply disconnected the remote and it has been perfect ever since. Now problems with my Sonos system I spent thousands on. It’s either the speakers or my amplifiers but 2 speakers continue to go in and out... time after time trying to schedule a visit no answer back.. latest text the owner says “Ok, i’ll look at the schedule. That was two weeks ago and like previous times no text back no email no phone call no nothing doesn’t care and I believe will never care. I’m done with this company.. There are many good people out there that do what they say they’re going to do show up on time take care of their customers and with my experience? this isn’t one of them.

Reference media is certainly a great place to see high-end home theater and stereo gear, BUT service is quite something else. I went there today to check performance of a rather costly set of headphones against my current phones, but there was absolutely no one in the store beyond a receptionist, who could not offer any help. It's great to have all that wonderful gear, but with no knowledgeable trained staff to assist it is pretty useless. It is apparent that their large profit points come from large multi-thousand dollar installations, but it is unfortunate that more simple (and lower cost) purchases are ignored.

This is an outstanding audio boutique that offers a range of products, from high-value/performance introductions to great sounding audio to superlative audio systems selling at stratospheric prices that will blow your mind. Best of all, you won't have to endure a snobby sales person or be pressured into buying something you don't want or cannot afford. What you will get however, is friendly, professional and outstanding service from one of the finest and most knowledgeable individuals I've encountered in over 35 years of buying and upgrading audio equipment. I cannot recommend Reference Media highly enough.
