I like to look here first when looking for outdoor equipment. I did feel hunted when I was looking around by the employees who asked if I needed help. However that could be because parts of the store Is roped off due to covid. I always get wonderful service here. Prices can be a little higher though I know I am leaving with reliable items.
Absolutely love REI! This particular store is no exception. The staff is amazing and the quality of products is exceptional. Over the past 12 years I've purchased tents, boots, clothing, GPS units, watches, the list goes on. In the rare instance that a product does not meet my expectations, REI's generous return policy makes it easy to find a replacement. They're pro-get-outside activism nationally, at the state level, and locally make me love them even more. I am a Co-Op member and have never once regretted it. I can't recommend REI highly enough.
Okay honestly I was so impressed with Bham REI’s service today that I am writing this review. Every employee that I encountered (5 total) today was helpful, knowledgeable of products, and genuine. I don’t know a lot about niche adventure gear and sometimes it can be intimidating. I’ve only been into REI a handful of times but these employees were so helpful and gave great feedback. I’m glad I got a membership here a few months ago because the employees I interacted with today seemed enthusiastic and enjoyed being at work. So awesome (:
REI. Stopped by here today with my wife to look for a new wallet. I was amazed how cool this store is. They have everything outdoors you could think of. Great stuff for camping, biking, hiking etc. Great selection of hats, jackets and shoes. REI may be on higher end cost wise for clothing but these are top of line items such as northface. Found my wallet I needed and noticed a clearance rack with some great items discounted at a great price, 50 percent off. Staff was very polite and was pleased with my visit and purchase.
