1st time visting this beach, sand was nice and soft and very easy to set up the umbrella verses others along the coast. Beach was clean, waterfront seemed clean and well kept. Bathrooms were attended and clean where we were. Few nice shops and couple places to eat(we were only from 1st-19th streets). Says has a boardwalk but all we found was a actual board walk walk way between the beach and costal road(nice safe walking path). Were used to say Wildwood,AC, OC, SeaSide board walks. But was overral relaxing and quite day. Plan to return.

One of the best beaches in NJ. Nice boardwalk too. Less seagulls is another plus here .
The mornings are the best time to visit here. Always clean, or being cleaned up. Its a nice little place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Some of the bicyclists can be a little grumpy... Other then that its a good place.
The beach is super clean and the sand is pristine. The public is orderly and well behaved. Be aware though that the number of passes is limited because of the Corona, and on weekends they are likely to sell out for the day well before noon.
Honestly, I live in Clifton NJ, and I went all the way to this BEAUTIFUL beach in Belmar! It is one of the best beaches I have went to in NJ! Very clean water and would be recommended to go with your family! Once again, it was so worth of 2 hours to go to this beach! Stay strong Belmar Beach! I will always come again!
