Michael is very experienced and professional, and super easy to work with. He provided lots of useful information about flooring selection, the pros and cons of the different products, and fast efficient service when I needed help. It was very easy to place orders online, then arrange for contractors to pickup at GAIA's San Jose warehouse. When we ran into a color match problem, he was very quick to jump in and leverage his relationship with the vendor to support us. Even the owner dropped by to inspect the issue at our site, and they were able to respond quickly to resolve the problem. It is usually when problems come up that a vendor's customer service philosophy and process gets tested. In our case, they came through with flying colors! I highly recommend Michael as a resource for any flooring needs, and he will get the job done!

Michael at Beau Monde is truly honest, a professional, and super knowledgeable on flooring, and made our shopping experience for our kitchen remodel a breeze! I found Beau Monde doing an internet search and thought I would try a local business vs Home Depot, and so glad that I did. We were taking out a wall and were transitioning from original oak floors to something new - and the transition would be pronounced. We decided on a Hybrid Floor that is 60% limestone (sturdy!) in a grey tone with brown strikes that would match our new cherry cabinets. It is completely diff from the honey oak, and we could not be more pleased with the quality, color and durability. I was at the store a number of times trying to make a decision and Michael gave honest advice and suggestions. The Hybrid flooring we chose is a "floating" floor that snaps together, which is perfect because we had cracks in our kitchen walls from the house settling, and the cool basement under the kitchen could cause future flooring to buckle. Not with the floating floor though. I would recommend Beau Monde over Home Depot or Lowes any day, you just can't get this type of customer service, sound advice and knowledge going to the big stores. check out the pics! it looks amazing.

Michael really listen to my needs and spent time going over all my options. Even when my contractor needed to push out date for floors by 6 weeks, Michael was flexible. Highly recommend!

We were looking to replace carpeting in two of our bedrooms within a two week time frame. We initially went to Home Depot, which turned out to be quite a frustrating experience, since everything was decentralized. The person who came to measure the room was not connected to the person who can help us order the carpet and is different from the person who can schedule the carpet laying. Luckily, we found Beau Monde and stopped by the store the same day, spoke to Michael in person, picked out the carpet we want, scheduled the appointment, all within two hours. Michael was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. It was such a pleasant and easy experience that I will never consider going back to Home Depot for any of my flooring or home improvement needs again. Highly recommend!

He went above and beyond with his time helping me choose the right floor for my remodel. He is very professional, patient and easy to work with. He does the research and stands behind the products he sells which was a relief as the process of a remodel can be overwhelming. His pricing was also competitive and reasonable. My contractor made a mistake on a trim piece and Michael was able to expedite the piece quickly so not to hold up the job. I would definitely work with him again. 5 stars!
