It is a good mark of progress that the county has approved a new project called 'Home for All' which I hope will resolve the homelessness problem on the San Francisco Bay Peninsula. Glad to hear of it and I wish it the best of success.

I keep getting sent to san mateo housing search...I search through their \affordable housing\ list and all it is MARKET RATE housing. With all these people in need I question the actual \market\. At leat its a step but more proof of how pervasive the greed is out here. Programs like these need to be more aggressive if they truly believe their cause.

I've been dealing with Section 8 housing for years and they have always been fare. I do appreciate the workers I've had because they have all seemed to genuinely care about their clients and have been so very helpful and understanding! It's sad to see that state budget cuts have effected this office because these are great folks. As long as you fully are trying b to comply with the rules they are willing to assist you. Thank you

They never answer the phone. Two phone numbers are given and neither of them is the correct number. I had to physically go in to their office. A waste of time and gas. When I get to the office they do answer their phones but the website should be updated with the correct phone number.

I have been on the housing list for 5 years. No contact from them at all. I am in a bad relationship with an 8 year old but can't leave due to the cost of living in the Bay Area. On the website i filled out a form and there is a glitch that says I make 100,000 dollars a year make under 40 a year. I asked them to help me fix it but they said don't worry about it. I'm still here waiting. Things got ugly in my home yesterday but I'm not taking my daughter to a shelter.

The Housing Authority agency has helped me with Housing Assistance since 2012. I was on a waiting list for many years, but now they are helping me survive in SanMateo County.
