I stopped at City Hall because I was downtown and wanted to speak to a police officer. The door was locked. There was no sign or information posted with the exception of a phone number for paying fines. It was Saturday and we all know the courts aren't open on the weekends. I stepped over to the volunteer that was working the polls for absentee voting and she didn't know what to do either but she walked over to the locked door with me. There was a phone on the wall and the volunteer picked ut up and pushed the button for \police dispatch\ and handed me the phone. The dispatcher was friendly and told me there was an officer in the area and she would have him come to the station, so I waited. The officer was friendly and helpful. However, I think the police department should post a sign with some useful information/instructions for people that walk in. I ended up voting while I was at City Hall and I give the volunteers and the voting experience 5 stars.
