I am a nurse practitioner and found that I needed to go to rehab post surgery. I chose Carnegie Village because I had seen patients in the facilities; I liked the fell of the facilities and had heard compliments from patients on their experiences here. I have been here for the last week and have been thoroughly impressed by my experience. Everyone, from the nurses to the chef have been kind and helpful. The therapists have been encouraging but honest about safety. As people walk in the halls, I hear their therapists encouraging them. Due to COVID, the gathering portions of the facility aren’t being used. But that highlights the fact that it’s the people who make Carnegie what it is, not paint colors or pretty surroundings. Jamie is one of those people. She drives the facility van and has worked back in the patient care areas. Since I was in a wheelchair, Jamie stayed with me at my ortho apt and helped me get a Chief’s themed cast. The food here has been delicious including home made soups and baked goods. I will miss that when I go home tomorrow. Thank you to everyone at Carnegie Village for bringing me through an “in and out” surgery that turned into 2 weeks away from home. I would highly Recommend Carnegie Village if you need a SNF rehab stay.

Very clean. Attentative to the residents needs. Great compassionate care given overall. Great food. Definitely not comparable to the typical nursing facility. This facility has exceeded all expectations. I recommend it.

I've just fallen in love with this place. I'm still here. I had shoulder surgery and no one at home to care for me. I can't say enough wonderfult things about the staff. They are all very efficient and at the same time friendly and kind. I've made many friends here even with the rehab therapists. Just kidding guys. They know their jobs and work hard with each patient. Their kindness and desire to help each person to succeed in reaching their goal is amazing. I am personally grateful for the work that they have done with me. I'm quite confident that with a little help, it won't be long before I can return to my old self. Thank you all so much for making me feel safe and genuinely care about. If there's ever a time when I need to be in a rehab facility again, you can count on Carnegie being at the top of my list, begging for them to let me in. They even have Angels here.
