Fast and easy. There was no wait when I was there. Just pull your car into the allowed space and follow the on screen instructions. After payment the box with the monitoring device will open. You attach the monitoring device onto your car OBD II port which is typically right above your pedals and below your steering wheel

I set an a line for an hour and a half. By the time I was fourth in line the machine became out of service. Additionally, I didn’t get the notice of the emissions being due (new to Maryland and Disabled Vet) until 1 Feb stating that it was due by today, 3 Fed. Due to the snow and my husband who is a first responder (had my truck to get to and from work instead of his car), I wasn’t able to get there til today. If this is going to be a 24 hour service they need to have 1 person there to assist, if possible, if the system goes down. Recommend trying to go during the day because the lines are ridiculous, no one there at all to help and seems to break, conveniently after 5/6pm.

Easy to use. Just follow the prompts. The only problem we encountered was that the barcode scanner was not working, so we had to enter all information manually, but not that big of a deal. The line was long the day we went, but I suppose that varies based on date and times. No appointment necessary. Just drive over and get in line.

Should be convenient. However, if a driver ahead of you leaves without finishing, the kiosk cannot start a new reading. There is no cancel option, so multiple drivers are stuck unless a human attendant can be found and able to reset the system.

Came at 830pm in a Monday night and the machine was not working. Continuously asked me to shut off my already turned off engine.
