Scott F. came out to provide me with an estimate and answered all of my questions. There was never any pressure to sign any papers or go with a certain brand or model furnace/ac unit. I wasn't in a big hurry to have my system replaced as my 27 year old Carrier system was working fine, but it was on borrowed time. However, I think I decided to move forward on a Wednesday and the following Monday everything was installed. Terence and Ish came out to do the install and Ish (This guy is a warrior) was installing the AC unit outside in near blizzard conditions while Terence took care of business inside installing the furnace. I had a whole house humidifier installed also and so far everything is working just fine. As a matter of fact, the furnace made a suspicious noise the first time it started up which went away almost immediately and I was fine with it, but Terence ordered a new inducer motor and had it replaced the next day just to be sure. These guys definitely want to make sure that the customer is satisfied and aren't happy unless you have a solid working system in your home. A from me for Dowd Mechanical.

I recently had a new oil furnace installed by Dowd, and I am very pleased with their work. Terence was my main point of contact, and he was very helpful in suggesting the best furnace for my home with no pressure to purchase. He was friendly and always quick to respond to any inquiries I had. Mike and Dimitri installed the furnace and they were great as well. They were as quiet as they could be while here, and cleaned up everything when they were finished. Everyone was professional and courteous, and Shonda in the office was also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Dowd!

What a great experience I had with Dowd Mechanical. The technicians Mike S. and Jim were professional, courteous and very attentive to my needs. They worked clean and quickly. they took care of all my needs and any issues that arose. They even made sure my dog didn't escape through the gate as they had to install things outside. Scott Fisher was also great when he came to our house and did the estimate for replacement of our AC & Heating units. He explained everything in detail and I feel gave me a very fair estimate. I will use them for all my heating and air conditioning services

This is an update on my review from a year ago. If I was able to go above a 5 star review I would. Mike McCarty has been helping us with our HVAC issues from the first time we called DOWD and has been the most caring and professional individual we have worked with. Today we had a new system installed. Dimitri and Mike (not McCarty) installed the system and displayed the epitome of professionalism. They worked diligently from 8:50 am to 7:30 pm to ensure everything was done CORRECTLY! This company should take pride in hiring the quality professionals that they do. If you are in need of anything HVAC related do not hesitate to call DOWD. They are definitely the best in the area and we can’t thank them enough for everything.
