Zero stars, these lady’s are so rude for no reason. I asked a simple question and received attitude. I didn’t feel comfortable here at all. I saw the recent reviews and decided maybe they just had a bad experience but no, sadly it is true. Very disappointed, I will never be purchasing here. I don’t support rude people’s businesses and on top of that they talked extra slow for this Indian lady, rudest thing I have witnessed. Do everyone a favor and close this shop and go far away!

Updated 6/12/19: moved to a new location at 311 S Washington in Bergenfield. Lovely new space with loads of room and parking! There's a single step up to the front door and no alternative accessible entrance as far as I know. The door is not automatic. Once in the shop, though, there's plenty of space to maneuver and see the stock. Great selection, super nice staff! Loads of canvases to choose from including quite a few with Jewish prints, and a huge array of threads and extras. Plus tables to sit and stitch at!
The place looked cute as I was driving by but when I stopped to take a look around I was met at the side door by a woman with her hands on her hips rudely asking me what I wanted. I asked if the store was open and her demeanor changed a bit but I was very put off by the attitude I received simply by parking in the lot.
I was walking in the store (with face mask on) with my sisters and the lady yelled “stop stop” while motioning her hands to stop, in a way that made it seem like she assumed I didn’t speak English. All you had to say was “we are not open today”. If you are reading this, I do talk English. I was born and raised in Bergenfield so were my little sisters. Just because I don’t look white, doesn’t mean I can’t speak and understand English. My two little sisters where literally just standing at the door confused as to why this women yelled at them.
I came down from Montreal- and I plan on going back again. Absolutely beautiful canvases, largest selection of threads I’ve ever seen and super helpful and friendly staff. A wonderful experience!
