Daniel is the Consummate Professional. He has been a Factory Authorized repair technician of JBL/Altec products for many years, and in business for 30 years in Berkeley. He can fix, upgrade your equipment, if you want it, design and build custom speakers. I have done business with him since 1998

Daniel refoamed the woofers in my AR9 speakers. He did an EXCELLENT job. Daniel is an artist, not a business person, if you understand that, you will be pleased with his work. You need to be flexible, give him time and space to do his thing. If you can't; you and he will not be happy.

I needed a new XLR input in my speakers. He had to order the part so he said he'd have it done in a week and a half. Called him two weeks later and he said he couldn't get the part. I told him when I needed it in another five days. That time came and went, I had to call again and again he said he could find the part. I gave him my final deadline, he said no problem. On the day of the deadline he called me and said I found the part but didn't have time to go pick it up. So I had to get it for him, deliver it to him and then he made me feel like he was doing me a big favor getting it done that day. His prices were good and the speakers seem to be working great. But if I didn't keep on top of him I'll bet he would still have my speakers.
