Really enjoyed the pre-fix menu this past Sat evening. The flavors and ingredients are spot on. The service is outstanding too. I visited Chez Panisse many years ago and found this most recent visit equally as good. The ambience is upscale but not stuffy, so it’s very comfortable and inviting. Very likely to try the cafe upstairs.

We had a lovely meal here, the service was top notch and the food delicious, on arrival we were a little early so headed upstairs to the bar for a drink, hardly recommend the local Russian River’s Pliny the Elder ale, very tasty! For the meal we paired the wines with the four courses, these were mostly a hit, though the Italian red was not to my taste. The food was delicious and filling, so much so that we didn’t have room for the optional cheese course sadly. It’s not a cheap meal out but pretty good, just a little shy of Michelin standard but you’ll not be disappointed.

As for the food, the menu changes every day. Chez Panisse pioneered the \farm to table\ movement so you can expect good taste and freshness. I've had tomato soup, a vegetable sandwich, a simple green salad dressed with a garlicky vinaigrette, mushroom ravioli. The deserts are amazing. I can't wait to try one of their fruit galettes when they reopen.

Thank you Chez Panisse for your takeout menu options! I purchased the pork loin sandwich, finger potatoes, the eggplant tian, and a little Chez Panisse water glass. All of the ingredients were top-notch, and the flavors were divine! Of course, the glass was quality and sturdy as well. recommend
