Food trucks in an old parking lot. Lots of choices but they are for mostly the same things. You pay to park then pay to get in then pay for food that comes in such large portions that you can't really sample different vendors without wasting a lot of money. There are far too few tables so you basically stand around and eat in a busted up parking lot. This would have been good if it was an actual street food market with vendors making the food right there (not in a truck but on the actual street like INSERT COUNTRY HERE). And why was State Farm there and a random family selling a pain relief product with a money back guarantee? The carnival games are fine for kids and maybe people who are hammered. I guess this is family in the day and DJ drunkenness at night. Either way, I don't drink and can't imagine wanting to get blitzed in a parking lot down from a racetrack. Maybe now that mushrooms are legal in Oakland this will be a spot to lie on concrete near the stage while you trip. - Concerning the reply from the organization... I'm not sure how difficult it is to put up more plastic tables and almost every vendor is a food truck...

Well first time..went early..was a line already..food was expensive..considering..10.00 parking..5.00 to get in..food range between 5 to 25 00..not much they give you food stalls , food trucks ..several places have half hour to hour wait in line..I did not bother..I spent 35.00 .total...includes..gas..toll..parking I split with a friend ..got 2 food items 20 00 was not that impressed..food was good in a few places..when you are hungry anything tasted good ...location was windy..I well not go back..just wanted to check it out..the pics was from another family that bought the food..you cam spend 50 to 100.00 a yr this market.

Lots of cool stuff to eat and shop for while you are there. Everyone was nice and the crowd was cool. Getting to the location was challenging, but parking was easy.

Love it, the food was great, with a lot of vendors to eat at. Its best if you go early to be able to eat at a lot of the places with out the long lines. I f you want till later in the day lines will become pretty long.

It was a fun experience, though unsure if it was worth traveling almost 2 hours for. The food was really good, but somewhat expensive. The good items are all 13. The vendor selection was decent. About 6-7 really really popular unique ones, and the rest range from decent to mediocre. (And all still expensive) Parking wasn't too bad, and there were enough tables. Though it was quite messy. Good to have restrooms, but the portapotty was gross. One big urk for me was the fact that many food places were not listing prices on their banners. Especially the big baby bottle, I had to find out that it was 24 by waiting to get to the front of the line. I think some transparency would be better. Definitely not a 1 star place like many people are saying, but I wouldn't say it blew my mind. Might return next time to see if they change things up.
